Easy Strawberry Chia Freezer Jam
This delicious jam comes together with only 4 ingredients. Made without pectin or processed sugars, this jam is pure and simple, and comes together in 20 mins.
- 4 cups chopped strawberries
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp ground chia seeds
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Place the chopped strawberries and maple syrup in a saucepan. Set to medium heat, and bring to a boil. Cook strawberries for 5 minutes.
Next, add the chia seeds and turn the heat down to low. Cook for an additional 3 minutes, and remove the jam from the heat. Add in the lemon juice.
Let it cool. Fills three small 250 ml mason jars. Place the jam in the freezer. Will keep in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
