

Classic Belgian Waffles
If you’re looking for amazing Belgian waffles, this recipe is the winner. These waffles are crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup butter melted
- 1 1/2 cups milk room temperature
- 2 eggs yolks and whites separated
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

In a bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, set aside.

In another bowl, add the melted butter, egg yolks, milk, and vanilla. Whisk together until smooth. Add the dry ingredients into the wet, and mix until smooth.

In a bowl, beat the egg whites until they thicken and stiff peaks form. Very gently fold the egg whites into the batter.

Cook in a preheated waffle iron. Every iron is different, but one trick to know when the waffle is done is when it stops steaming. Mine is usually 9-10 minutes.
