Garlic Scape Hummus

Creamy and extra garlicky, this hummus will wake up the tastebuds! Dip it with crackers, veggies or your favourite chips, it’ll be your new favourite healthy dip!

  • 1 can organic chickpeas (398 ml can) rinsed and drained
  • 4 garlic scapes*
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2-1 tsp sea salt


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor. Blend until smooth, occasionally stopping to scrape the sides of the bowl. Serve with a side of veggies or crackers.

Recipe Notes

*Depending on how garlicky you want the hummus, you can add as many or as little scapes are you’d like.

I added 1 tsp of salt because I use low-sodium chickpeas. Feel free to cut back if needed.

Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
